- JNJoey NilesNov 15, 20253.0So the entrance of the theater was really nice, however the lines were a little long at the snack bar. Also there were like 7-ish Combo meals listed on their screens but not a single price listed. I wasnt going to waste more time asking how much each combo cost. It's rather crazy that snacks and drinks have a listed price but your combos aren't. Really ruined part of my experience because I wanted food but due to the lines I was pressed for time and didn't wanna just order something or waste time and find out if the combo wasn't worth it. Speaking of money, $7 for a large drink seems rather expensive without the option for a refill (if there was a refill option it wasn't listed anywhere). Harkins theater probably has spoiled me with their loyalty cup pricing. I will say the soda was good. Some places they let their soda machines go south and I was happy that the flavor was good considering the cost. I went and saw Virgin Punk Clockwork Girl and the seating was nice and comfortable with electronic recliners. It was easy to find my seat. The movie however was a rip-off. The movie was supposed to be 1hr 35mins I think but the actual movie was only 30ish minutes with an hour long documentary about how the animated feature was made. I didn't see anywhere listed that it was mostly a documentary and was rather pissed that they didn't show two run times (one for the animated part and the other for the documentary) for the show. If anything was shown that it had one it wasn't clearly listed on the website. I've never had a movie that was mostly documentary in it so I had 0 clue that I should have researched it. Overall it was a very nice theater and they employees were very nice, but the lines, lack of up front pricing on the combos, and the misleading actual runtime of the animated part of the movie(the part I actually was interested in) REEEEEALLY turned me off. I still will probably visit this theater, but ONLY when there's no other option. Harkins and AMCs have shorter lines, listed pricing for their combos, and I have never had the experience of paying for a full price of a movie and only getting a half hour of actual show.
