  I have worked with Pete Bella and Twist Creative studios for years; I have always had amazing results with our small to medium size projects. From headshots for the team to promotional videos and everything in between, Twist always takes the extra step to make sure we are more than satisfied. Everything doesn’t always go perfect but Pete does always have a plan B to keep things moving. My favorite thing about working with Pete is that not only can I rely on him to do what I want, I can count on him to tell me the hard truth when my ideas and reality aren’t able to align. He never tells me “no” but he has given me a few pointers that have helped me rethink my position and the end result is always incredible. My small business would not be where it is today without Twist Creative Studios. Thank you, Pete! You da man!!!

  We hired Twist Creative Studio to accelerate our documentary timeline and deliver a professional-quality edit. Unfortunately, the experience was riddled with issues. Pete Bella misrepresented his services as full-service, then admitted he couldn’t provide appropriate-quality color correction and asked us to pay an outside specialist through him. He used outdated equipment, lost footage, and charged us $187/month for “safe” storage after his own storage system became corrupted, an expense not included in our original agreement. Despite our adjusting deadlines to accommodate his reported personal problems, delays continued. His progress remained slow, and despite assurances that he could meet not only the original but also the adjusted deadlines, he failed to do so. After we expressed concern about delays in early drafts, he backtracked on a promised nonprofit discount, claiming it wasn’t actually for nonprofits but rather for projects with a “casual” deadline, contradicting what had previously been discussed. He then offered unacceptable solutions: either we hire an additional editor to get him back on track, or we pay for him to expand his team. The working relationship became unprofessional. He required constant micromanagement, frequently missed deadlines, and in meetings intended to address project concerns, he discussed even more personal issues and asked for clinical advice (I’m a psychotherapist by profession, but definitely not his therapist). When we raised concerns, his response was dismissive and inappropriate. He took little to no accountability for his actions and repeatedly blamed us for his failings. We ultimately terminated the agreement and returned to in-house editing which led to a financial loss and delay in our production, which has damaged some of our donor relationships. Our nonprofit had better equipment, and our volunteers demonstrated more professionalism. Perhaps Twist can handle short simple projects, but we do not recommend them if you are looking for more than a one day service.

  I did some searching around before I found Pete at Twist Creative. He was the first person I came across that accepted my vision for my project and provided exactly what I wanted. I am really greatful that he was able to adapt to the rollercoaster situation at the film site and provide excellent, perfect video for me. I wish I could give more than five stars. Thank you so much Pete for capturing this wonderful event!!!

  I had an amazing experience working with Twist Creative Studio. Pete's dedication to delivering top-notch quality really stood out. I was impressed when he stayed late into the evening before our production to troubleshoot an audio issue. Not only that, but he went the extra mile by purchasing new equipment to ensure perfection. Despite our tight timeline, Pete handled it effortlessly and accommodated our needs without any problems. The final product was of exceptional quality and received high praise from everyone who watched it. I highly recommend Twist Creative Studio for their professionalism, commitment, and outstanding results!
