All Metals Recycling was founded in 1995 by brothers Randy and Ryan. Having previously worked for Green Mountain Sanitation, they decided to spin-off this company and focus on metal recycling with AMR. Their brother, Robbin joined the company 6 months later and in 2011, Rachel Towns, the company's third generation, came on board. The company's grown greatly over the years, becoming one of the largest private employers in Hardwick. “In 1995 we had just four employees and a couple of trucks. Now we employee 30 people and have an entire fleet of trucks and heavy equipment.” In 2008, All Metals Recycling expanded their clientele when they opened another scrapyard in Williston, Vermont.
