  Very sneaky to add an “energy surcharge” with no notice or disclosure anywhere except on your receipt. The sales tax has a percentage by it but the energy surcharge doesn’t. It’s 3.5% but it’s just another way to gouge customers. Not sure why I’m surprised; I had to return a dead bush and they came up with all these excuses why they wouldn’t do it. When I asked why the receipt didn’t have any of those terms and conditions on it they didn’t really have an answer. Caveat emptor.

  Ok so went to Outdoor World Emporium in Wentzville yesterday. My advice is NEVER EVER go there to buy anything!! They are CHEATS!! went to buy decorative rock for the flower beds. Prices listed and also given to us by the yard guys is wrong. Cost $36 more per yard than listed and they said too bad. False advertising!! So what do you do? Pay the extra or move on. Hour and 10 minutes to drive there, time spent looking at it, drive time home, and where else is there bulk decorative rock. They've got you. Lady there was a witch. Said we won't be back she said fine. Told her it was going on facebook, she said fine. Terrible people there. So added injury to insult, looked at my receipt today and was also charged for two items that we only bought one of. Bought a sale item that I was charged full price for. So in all we were overcharged $57. Just think if they even do that at few times a day. Adds up!! So what do they tell me, sorry too bad. This is a BAD place to shop. Hope those people sleep at night. I didn't look at my receipt when I left there yesterday because I was already so mad about the $36 and them not posting the correct prices. They said they were too busy to go out and update their prices. Just think about this. What if every place we shopped did this and then said too bad. Overcharged daily and was told too bad. It can happen and in time will happen. What are we going to do about it???

  Rude woman working check out. Bait and switch prices. Told checker about posted prices and she didn’t care. States they do not have time to change prices. Would not give posted prices. Posted in store price should be the price. Wouldn’t even give 1 star but have to or can’t leave a review.

  When a store has a line out the door you know they are doing something right. Always a great selection and prices. Make this a go to when you want to start or add to your outdoor planting and decor.
