My chicks arrived healthy and well. I ordered 7 chicks and got 2 extra. I had SO many questions as this is my first time keeping chickens and Genie over in customer service has been the BEST. Answering all my questions, calling me back whenever I've reached out and just going the extra mile through the whole experience. My chicks arrived yesterday and they are all eating, drinking and doing well.

Sell chicks that they know won’t make it and lean on a 24 hour policy. Buyers beware

I ordered 10 chicks, and their heads had been painted to identify the breeds but no identification key was included. I’ve never seen a hatchery do that before. Two of the chicks were extremely small, about half the size of the other eight, and both died within the first 48 hours. I contacted customer service, expecting help, but instead felt like I was being interrogated. After sending multiple photos, I was told they couldn’t verify the issue and therefore wouldn’t do anything to make it right. Very disappointing experience. I won’t be purchasing from this company again, and I would encourage others to be cautious before ordering.

First time ordering from here. I didnt even know you could order chickens online! I ordered 4 and got 7. They're all what I ordered, with the extra bonus of a few extra chickies!

I am writing to express my deep disappointment with your shipping process and the condition of my order, #CFB-2429. My chickens hatched on May 3 and were shipped on May 4. Although the delivery date on the box was May 6, they were not delivered to my local post office. Instead, I had to drive one hour and 40 minutes each way to pick them up from a different location to ensure they wouldn't spend more time in transit. If I had waited for local delivery, the chickens would have been in the box for five days, which is well beyond the three-day maximum for survival without food or water. Upon opening the box, I found that one of the chickens—specifically a Salmon Faverolle—has already passed away due to dehydration. While I appreciate that you included two extra chickens, this does not excuse the lack of urgent shipping for live animals. I believe your company needs to stand by its shipping process or switch to a more reliable carrier that prioritizes live shipments. Based on this experience, I do not intend to order from your company again.
