- FSFrederick ShankSep 18, 20265.0Great very nice people and service
- DKDavid KlimaSep 14, 20265.0Exceptional company. Called them because our furnace stopped working after we discovered water in the tank. We are not even a customer of theirs but they still took the care to make sure someone was on site and the issue was resolved within just 2 hours. Tommy and his crew helped us out and they were all very patient and knowledgable. This was a stressful situation for us but they made things quite easy and stress free for us. They even removed a garter snake from our garage that snuck in while they were working! They have definitely gained a new customer in us with their amazing service.

Frequently Asked Questions About Tilghman Oil Company
Where does Tilghman Oil Company deliver in Maryland?
Tilghman Oil operates from Salisbury, MD and provides service to customers across Wicomico, Worcester, Somerset, and Dorchester Counties, including Ocean City, Cambridge, Princess Anne, and other Eastern Shore communities.
What type of fuel does Tilghman Oil provide?
Tilghman Oil supplies No. 2 heating oil, which is also called Number 2 fuel oil and is typically used in residential and commercial boilers, furnaces, and certain standby generators. We additionally supply on-road and off-road diesel, gas and kerosene.
Is No. 2 heating oil the same as diesel fuel?

Is heating oil still a reliable option on the Eastern Shore?
Yes. Heating oil continues to be a dependable and commonly used fuel on the Eastern Shore, particularly in locations without natural gas access and in larger or older buildings that were constructed with oil-fired heating systems.
Why choose Tilghman Oil over a larger fuel company?
Customers select Tilghman Oil for their regional knowledge, quick response times, and individualized service. As a Salisbury-based business, they possess superior understanding of Eastern Shore properties, weather patterns, and delivery requirements compared to large national companies.
