  Lovely finished product created to meet our needs. God bless the installers who came before a torrential rain, but stayed to complete the installation after the heavy rain started!

  I would give a lower rating if possible. They advertise on line as if they are in Dayton Ohio. When I called asking for an estimate I was asked for the dimensions of my steps to add a railing. A simple hand rail for three steps. They asked for the dimensions because I was an hour away from their offices and they didn’t want to travel that far to estimate the job. Remember they present themselves as working in Dayton. When I received the estimate they sent two. One was for just the rail at $7000 plus. The second estimate included a 2 foot extension on the front of the porch at $10,000 plus. I was flabbergasted. That was akin to robbery. I could only assume they didn’t want the job. I got another estimate from a local Dayton ironworks and the estimate was $1500 for 2 railings. They were also a custom fabricator that hand makes the railing. Elsmere justified their quote because they fabricated all their work as custom and they had travel time going to Dayton. I would steer clear of using them as their prices are ridiculously high.

  I would highly recommend Elsmere Ironworks. From getting the quote to the installation of our white front rails on on stairs, the service was fantastic.
