  SES was contracted by a potential buyer of our property for a Phase 1 evaluation. SES compiled a report that was filled with provable factual errors. The worst error was attributing reports of a spill from a totally unrelated property to our property. SES made an incorrect, and totally unconfirmed, assumption that another address had once been the address at the subject property. When they received additional info from IDEM, they issued an addendum stating the address in the Phase 1 report was incorrect but left the original report intact. We requested that they reissue the phase 1 report removing all incorrect information. They initially agreed they would reissue the Phase 1 but a week later advised they would not do so. Needless to say, the buyer backed out based upon their reports. Making a mistake is understandable, but failing to correct that mistake and removing a false report from the record is, in my opinion, totally unprofessional and unacceptable.
