The Agua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation operates the Discovery Campus (DC). The DC is an extraordinary collection of hands-on exhibits, gardens, and live animal ambassadors allowing visitors to “taste nature.” We are open to the public, but we primarily serve families with school-aged children who care about the environment, the watershed, and the local community, and we are stroller friendly. These families come to Agua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation for active ways to involve their kids in fun, hands-on, educational experiences that give them a sense of accomplishment. Most guests spend between half an hour to two hours exploring our offerings. We have a suggested $15 donation per group; members are complimentary.

- NBNore BatouliJul 29, 20265.0There's a water current area for the kids to play and explore, live birds, petting animals, a pig, tortoise, guinea pigs, and look out view
- AKananya kshirsagarJul 21, 20265.0Hailey was the BEST person ever! She pretty much gave us an unofficial tour even though she wasn’t a tour guide and told us everything about all the animals and let us touch the chickens and birds. She’s SO knowledgeable and made me want to recommend this place to absolutely everyone. Annika was extremely helpful too. Literally a north county hidden gem, please send my best to Hailey!
- SSSharJul 20, 20265.0Very well maintained. Good place for kids. Very informative for them to see the reptiles. Also allows to host events. Great location.
