- RLRaymond LippardSep 26, 20261.0I was working with one of the salesmen on my shop I’m going to build. In gathering quotes, I requested one last quote for a smaller shop. After a week of not hearing from this salesman, I emailed him back asking if he was able to finish my requested quote at which he finally replied back that he would have it done in the next day or so. Three more weeks passed and no quote was ever given. I attempted two more times to reach out to this salesman with not success. To this company, we are the ones buy your product.. When your customers request quotes, it would be best if you at least have the dignity to reply back if you don’t feel like doing your job. We have decided to take our hard working money to another company. I don’t recommend this company to anyone. Furthermore, when asked who provided me the metal that my building was made from, I will tell them who did not provide the metal. Then I will recommend the company that did and that company provided me all the quotes I asked for and with-in 1 working day of my request. Sad because this company (Oklahoma based, not North Little Rock) was recommended by my brother as they were the ones that provided the metal for his last 4 buildings.
- RSRobert SteinleApr 28, 20265.0Don't know what I was expecting when I drove out to Muellers but this was not it! Definitely didn't give off a metal warehouse vibe..... The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The products are top notch. The warehouse floor is clean enough to eat off of. Just an all around pleasurable experience. A+± in this old guy's book.
- ACAndrew CowleyDec 20, 20245.0I really enjoy working with the Muller group in North Little Rock! They are very friendly, and they take care of your metal bending needs! I think it’s awesome that you can sketch a specific design for a particular project and they can have it produced almost instantly!

Is it true that metal roofs attract lightning during a storm?
No, lightning generally strikes the tallest object and may strike any object - not exclusively metal. An advantage is that metal roofs won't burn if struck because they are non-combustible.
Are metal roofs noisy in rainstorms?
Installed properly above an insulated attic, metal roofing makes no more noise than a traditional composition roof.
Why should I choose a metal roof for my home?
Metal roofing is much more durable than other types of roofing materials, with a very long life expectancy. Metal roofs are also low maintenance, energy efficient and available in many designer colors.
Does Mueller sell directly to homeowners?
Absolutely. We welcome every homeowner to visit Mueller so we can work directly with you to design and manufacture your very own metal roof.
Is a metal roof more energy efficient than an asphalt shingle roof?
Yes: Metal roofing offers three primary ways in which it keeps homes cooler and reduces air conditioning costs often by 20% or more. First, light colored metal roofs and some metal roofs with special pigments in dark colors reflect radiant heat. Second, metal roofs lose any gained heat very quickly to the sky when the sun sets or goes behind a cloud or even when a slight breeze blows. Other roofing materials capture and retain the sun’s heat. Third, metal roof panels have an integral airspace between the metal and the roof deck in the way of ribs. This airspace acts as a thermal break, stopping conductive heat transfer. Common terms used in relation to metal roofing are:
Emissivity - Metal roofs can be painted to achieve noteworthy emissivity ratings as high as 90%. Emissivity is a term used to describe the heat that is radiated - or emitted - from a surface. For example the asphalt on your street has low emissivity - and high heat transference - which is why it is virtually impossible to walk on it barefoot on a hot summer day. The sun's heat is absorbed into the asphalt and then transferred to the surrounding environment. On the other hand, properly treated metal roofing has low emissivity and high reflectivity, which keeps buildings significantly cooler in warmer weather, noticeably reducing overall cooling loads.
Reflectivity - In addition to low emissivity, cool metal roofs are also highly reflective. This means that radiant heat from the sun is reflected directly back into the atmosphere. When you consider that 40% or more of the nation's energy is spent on heating and cooling costs, this becomes a significant source of energy savings.
What are the benefits of metal roofing?
Compared to traditional roofing, Mueller metal roofs come out on top.
Beauty - With Mueller roofs, you can choose from a wide variety of attractive designer colors.
Durability - Metal roofs last much longer than both composition roofs and wooden shingles.
Weather Resistance - Mueller roofs offer superior protection from wind, hail and fire.
Longevity - Mueller offers limited paint warranties up to 30 years. Your roof will look fresh and vibrant for decades.
Energy Efficiency - Because of their high-tech coatings, Mueller roofs may help lower your air conditioning and heating bills.
Insurance Savings - Insurance companies may offer discounts up to 35% for homes with Mueller metal roofs. Check with your insurance agent.
Low Maintenance - Install your metal roof and then forget about it.
Environmentally Friendly - The recycled content of steel in metal roofing is much higher than the recycled content in asphalt shingles. Plus, because a metal roof weighs less than shingles, it can often be installed directly over your existing roof, saving the environmental as well as financial costs associated with removal and disposal.
