However, my experience with warranty service for my zero-turn riding lawn mover has been frustrating. When I contacted the service center about an issue covered under warranty, my tractor was not inspected and no assistance was provided. This has left me without a working tractor when I most needed it. I am disappointed, as I purchased this tractor with the expectation that the warranty would be honored. I hope John Deere will look into this matter and ensure that warranty services are handled promptly in the future.

And the service dept. said they could not find anything wrong with mine, being less than 6 months old when I complained that it was starting up only intermittingly. I could be wrong here, but my instinct tells me they didn't want to honor the warranty since I didn't buy it there, and they weren't calling me for status. I would rather go ahead and pay someone else to diagnose my problem than hassle with these people.
