  The best advice I was given when considering a new tractor was to consider your closest option first because service is everything. That lead me to United Ag & Turf in Mineola where I purchased a 5100e as well as some implements in December of 2023. It was straight forward and easy Bobby had good advice when I was asking lots of questions so sales earned their stars. I've had three issues with since my purchase. One was a leaking hydraulic line on a grapple that they came out and fixed super fast. 2nd was a hydraulic leak that turned out to be a simple ruptured hose. They had to pick it up but got it back to me fast when I was in a crunch and needed it. 3rd was a potential future failure issue of which I brought to their attention and they came out to fix it as well. I thought the preventative care service call was the most impressive for them to resolve because it wasn't techincally broke. However, they used logic and knew it was better to handle it now rather than waiting for a more costly failure later. Last month, I visited the parts counter and I will say the man that help me may have been having a bad day and wa a little difficult but bottom line is a still got what I needed pretty darn efficently. After all of the interactions I've had, there were plenty of times where it could have gone wrong but they always do what's right which will always keep me coming back. Thanks to everyone there!

  The only good experience I’ve had at United Ag is buying my 5045E tractor and JD shredder a couple years ago. After that, it’s all been down hill. Service manager is never in his office and you have to wait 15-20 minutes for him to show up from wherever he hangs out. When he does show up, he completely ignores you until you make him pay attention. Told me he blocked his office door to keep customers from sitting in his office and taking too much of his time. What an arrogant excuse of a service manager. Service techs seem good, though. Then there is the parts department. I asked for an oil filter and they gave me the wrong one then said I couldn’t get a refund because it had oil on it. Of course it did… I tried to install it, dah!! Now, I regret buying JD equipment… should have bought another brand. If you’re planning to buy, I suggest looking elsewhere. I don’t have issues with the equipment… just having to deal with very unprofessional and unhelpful people after the sale!
