- JZJerry Zemanek1 day ago5.0Over the past year or so I have had two issues with my John Deere 5065E that I could not have resolved without the knowledge and guidance of Wes Tindell of the Bryan.Tx office. First was an issue of slow-start or no-start. This condition existed for a couple years and 3 batteries before I was put in touch with the Bryan office of United Ag & Turf. Given the background of information Wes quickly diagnosed my issue as being the starter, guided me through a step by step replacement procedure, and gave me the confidence to successfully tackle the starter change-out. With the new starter the tractor has never started better...even when brand new..Thank you Wes. The second issue on the 5065E was an issue of consistently getting a "STOP" warning indicator which the manual advises to immediately shut the tractor off. This started with getting the warning occasionally to getting it frequently thereby rendering the tractor useless. Again, after providing Wes with the symptoms and tractor sensor codes he quickly diagnosed the problem to be a clogged fuel screen inside the diesel tank. With his step by step guidance I was able to remove the clogged screen and replace it with an in-line filter that provides easy access should I need to replace in the future. After these changes, no more "STOP" alerts and the tractor runs great. Thank you Wes.

The tractor ignition fuse had blown and Wes helped me identify and fix the cause of the issue. He patiently worked with me on my phone using photos I sent him to instruct me on appropriate actions. He saved me hundreds of dollars which would have been required for an Ag Service Call.
