  I used to be a regular at Thompson metal for over a decade but continued having trouble out of the Hispanic man that operates the machine where you back in to dump the metal. I not only would bring my metal there exclusively I also was a regular at coming to buy scrap for projects. While there scouting the yard to see if there was anything worth while to pick up like a push mower to fix and resale or a carberator off a junk engine I would be harassed by the machine operator claiming he was holding certain items for himself or others which wasn't always true, I cought him in a lie saying he was holding an item for someone. Turned out I knew the person he's claimed he was holding it for so I contacted them and they hadn't been there recently and had no idea about the operator saposedly holding the item for him. Mind you I wasn't even interested in buying said item I simply just wanted to look at it because I had never seen one before. This type of situation happened several times. I was told to stand inside or on the steps leading into the building while operating the machine, I had no problem with that but he allowed his buddy's to break the rules right in front of me but would throw a fit if i did what his buddies did. I recorded one day when this was going on if anyone has anything to say otherwise. I have all together quit going there because of that one individual and I wish I could remember his name but other than that one guy I got along with everyone else and never had any real issues, in fact sometimes I would go to scout for stuff to buy and not find anything substantial just some wiring or small little something that was just a pound or two they would give it to me. I know of several others that do the same as me and go there to buy items or metal stock and have the same problems with that Hispanic machine operator. I personally feel that guy should have been fired long ago because I know for a fact he has costed Thompson metal money because of his behavior. But in the big scheme of things they don't give a shit about the Little guys because as long as they have daddy Eastman and other large facilities bringing 18 wheeler loads of metal in daily they arent worried about anyone else. So if you ever go and they have closed early or whatever it's likely because they know the big trucks have stopped rolling in for the day.

  Another wasted trip, and with gas as high as it is, I come here alot to take aluminum, cans, etc. Usually pretty good, twice now tho ive come only to be told by the guy at the dock they're closed when its 2 oclock, I give 2 instead of 1 star cuz they're usually good other than the guys taking my scrap acting like they hate they're life, and im posting to make sure its not the workers telling me they r closed an hour early just cuz they wanna get whatever else done just to go home, some of us have jobs and can't make it there first thing in the morning during the week let alone by 3, if it's 10 or 15 til I wouldn't even waste my time with a post and could understand, but a whole hour when the website says 330, 3 on Friday, and the way the workers act I felt obligated especially living as far as I do and this being the only place close enough I can despose of certain things properly and recycle, could do better

  Oh its friday let close an hour early I pulled in at 230pm today was allready closed window at scale was shuttered and so was the garage bay lazy scum just bc mondays a holiday like what company works like that
