  I ordered propane when my tank was at 40% 3 weeks ago, my tank is at 05 %. I’m not on the delivery schedule for today. I am really disgusted with Southall Gas.

  We have propane for heat in the winter. We called at 30% on February 1st and with record breaking low temperatures, the propane has been going fast. Called this morning to see if they had an estimate of when we will get our propane as we will be living with no heat soon. The receptionist was rude and said the owner made the schedule up day-to-day so they have no idea when they’ll get to me, just could tell me that it wasn’t today. Wouldn’t recommend them.

  This company does not work on a first come first serve basis nor does it on a on a percentage needed basis it works on a convenience basis. We have been customers of South Hall for 15+ years I have never had a problem up until this year we have went through the LIHEAP due to my husband having cancer we are eligible. They were contacted on January 26th from the LIHEAP department for us to receive propane LIHEAP was told it would take 15 days due to the extreme coldness apparently everybody is ordering propane. I had contacted them on February 6th to question the amount of gallons I was going to receive due to me having a credit on my account and the guy I spoke with stated that, that day I should have received my propane but their truck broke down no biggie I said with the assumption that I would be one of the first ones to receive propane on the following delivery day so I contacted them first thing Monday the 9th at 8:00 a.m. the lady I spoke with Jackie seemed unaware of anything and was oh we'll take care of that we'll get that dispatched out to the drivers. Which was a waste of my time but needless to say Monday came Monday went nothing! Tuesday came nothing it is now Wednesday I contacted them shortly after 11:00 a.m. and the lady Jackie told me I was on the second delivery route unless something happens to the truck hopefully all goes well was the response I received by her. Well maybe running a business you should put a little bit of money into your vehicle so that they don't break down that's not my fault but somehow I'm being punished because they are cheap and can't maintain their equipment. I don't understand how I was supposed to receive my propane on Friday and it is now Wednesday of the following week and I'm one of the last ones to get it I guarantee there were multiple people that were scheduled after my schedule delivery on Friday that received their propane. I believe its more of a covience thing then in order prefernce especially when they already have credit on my account. This company is a joke, very unreliable, customer service sucks. No wonder they aren't highly recommended. Simple starments or questions get such attitude. I will be shopping elsewhere for next year.

  I’ve been with Southhall for over 20 years and this is biggest letdown today. I ordered on January 23 at 33%. They still have not delivered propane and I have been out since Friday Feb. 6th. I called again today and was told the delivery driver “tried” to come Friday and my drive needed plowed… I keep the driveway plowed daily, we have had multiple Amazon deliveries in the same time period with no issues, and yes they were the big delivery trucks. We will be looking for another propane service asap. Any suggestions that deliver to the Cambridge area would be welcomed. Also still no propane and looking for immediate delivery

  I ordered propane and paid for it at the time of order when our tank reached 30% per their requirements. The temperature has been highs in the teens and lows in the negative digits. After 14 days the gage was at 10%. I called in to ask when we could expect a delivery. We were not on the schedule yet. She said she would update dispatch. Here we are 3 days later at 6% and still no propane. Temperature is still in the teens and negative digits at night. Probably going to run out before Monday. So let's sum up this experience. Propane was ordered when our tank reached 30% as per Southhall's request. The propane was paid for in full up front at the time of order. And we are going to run out before it gets delivered. Unprofessional at best!! I have used Southhall for 10 years. They do have the best rates. But, I will be finding another propane company for next winter. I'll gladly pay a little more a gallon to ensure my family stays warm this up coming winter.
