I was basically swindled out of $1,150. Bought a house where they had a 500 gallon tank and were using fireplace inserts to heat the place. We don't use the inefficient inserts to heat the house so we were not burning as much propane. So in three years the tank was only down to half full. The guy comes and asks if he can take the tank back so that they can use it at a different property and he swapped it out for a small one. No problem. I wanted to do the company a solid and get them their equipment back, and the technician removing the tank said the 250 gallons he's hauling away would be credited back to "the account." I bought the house, the propane was here, therefore you would think that I bought the propane, right? No. Turns out since they own the tanks that means that the propane is somehow their property until you burn it. They just gave the money back to the previous home owner who had purchased the propane. I understand their garage policy, but it's a garbage policy. When you buy a home, anything left behind at the property belongs to the new home owner. So do I now have to go back and pay the previous homeowner for her propane I burned? No. Is the previous homeowner going to give me the money back for the propane that they sold to me and were just refunded? No. If it was explained to me properly beforehand I would have never allowed them to take their 500 gallon tank back because I would have understood if be out over $1000. That garbage situation coupled with the fact that the technicians don't knock or tell you that they are going to be walking around your property without permission are two very valid reasons why you should first look into other propane providers.

Highly unprofessional. We only need to refil our tank every other year, and sometimes fill it on our own from the gas station if we cant afford a full fill up. Called today to see about getting fuel delivered and the man told me he would not come to us because we have been doing it the "lazy way". Not everyone can afford to pay for 250 gallons at a time, especially in this economy. Shouldnt be put down for it.

Do yourself a favor and call a company who treats you as if they actually appreciate your business. No longer will I give my business to people who think they have the market cornered just because they have repeat business from people who either don't understand there are better companies out there or just don't want to take the time to find out if there are better companies out there. When it's the dead of winter and you have been a customer for the past 5 years, you don't expect to be laughed at when you ask for a delivery. I'm tired of the companies who want to take your money and treat you like a number. If you are annoyed by your job retire ! I have higher expectations. Sorry Woodlawn you just lost a customer.
