Standard Iron & Metal Company, LLC is a family-owned and operated business founded in 1943. The grand opening in 1951 at our current location included the attendance of officials from the Governor’s office, the Mayor’s office, and numerous other dignitaries. The founder’s legacy now extends to the 3rd generation, and we have evolved into a full-service metal recycling processor incorporating the heavy machinery and equipment required to meet our customers' needs. We provide solutions in a challenging workplace with a responsibility for the safety of our workforce and the community.
