Landon went above and beyond and helped me salvage the existing stem with a few power tools and heat, had it back to looking like it was new. Thank you sir! And thank you Evans for employing great people! The other hardware store in town just wished me luck.

I accepted and instead of them pointing to where the item was, which could have turned this little trip into a scavenger hunt, Bob walked me to the exact location and removed it from the shelf only to ask, "Is this what I was looking for?" And, It sure was! So impressed with their "Old School mannerism", I forgot the rebar. So we walked all the way back to the back, grabbed four of those rebars, which were a bit long. Half the size would have been sufficient. So, I asked Bob if they could cut them in half. I knew he was going to say NO, A BIG FAT NO! ...The big box stores would have...BUT BOB HAD NO PROBLEM DOING THAT FOR ME. He cut the rebar in no time at all, and I appreciate it. So anyways, I just wanted to share my pleasant experience. You to should go visit Bob. I heard he likes German Chocolate Cake. Lol. Thanks for making my day, Bob!
