Apparently, a delivery full of dead chicks does not qualify for a live delivery guarantee.

This company should be shut down! I just read another review where most of the birds someone bought weren’t even a breed they ordered! We ordered eight birds last spring. We paid in advance and they shipped in August. Four of them were supposed to be splash Americana four were supposed to be olive eggers. We received nine birds and I assumed it was because they shipped from Missouri to Pennsylvania and they were making sure that there were no possible losses. No, not the case the ninth bird was a rooster! Two of our splash Americana’s were also roosters!! So out of nine birds three are roosters! When I contacted them about this issue, they told me to look for 4H groups to donate the roosters?? First of all any 4-H group anywhere near me would be almost an hour and two different directions. We live 10 miles out out of Pittsburgh.. I don’t think not doing your job right should constitute the customer trying to make phone calls to get rid of roosters that nobody is going to take??? We aren’t the type of people to kill an animal just because of its gender! Please try to buy your chicks from tractor supply I think your odds would be the same! 33% success rate is very poor for a hatchery!!

Ordered 3 pullets. Received 4 baby chicks. Unfortunately the fourth was a rooster and I’m unable to have them. We had to rehome.. it was very, very sad.

They were excellent from ordering to delivery. Only one thing, one of the chicks delivered was not what I ordered. Ordered a red sex link pullet and got a Rhode Island red. I'm ok with it, I've had those in the past and loved them. I received an extra chick which totally made up for the mishap. Will definitely order from them again.
