I LOVE Applebees! And I don’t mean the restaurant! Every time I come here everyone treats me like family and even have cookies and candy setting out for everyone! They always get me in whenever I need an oil change, my tires rotated or replaced, or even when my car is making a funny noise. They always have the best prices whether it’s for propane, gas or any other services. I wouldn’t go anywhere else and I don’t even live in Ovid! Thanks Shane, Brad, Dale and the girls in the office for always taking such good care of us!!!!!

We moved to house in Laingsburg and did not realize the propane was near empty. Our propane went out at 2pm on a Friday! We called a handful of propane companies in the area, they couldn’t service us untill next week, before we thought to give Shane’s team a call in Ovid. They came out and we had a full propane tank by 5:30pm!! We will only use Applebees going forward!

Frequently Asked Questions About Applebee Oil & Propane

Rotten eggs
Skunk spray
Decaying cabbage
What should I do if I smell propane?
Extinguish any flames or sparks
Do not light matches, smoke, or use any electrical devices (including phones or light switches).
Leave the area immediately
Get everyone out of the building or area where you smell propane.
Shut off the propane supply
If it's safe to do so, turn off the main gas supply valve on your propane tank.
Call for help
Once you're at a safe distance, contact your propane supplier or emergency services (911).
Do not return until it's safe
Wait for a qualified technician to inspect and declare the area safe before going back.
How far can a propane tank be from a house?
The required distance between a propane tank and a house depends on the tank size, installation type, and local regulations, including those from the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA 58).
What is the difference between propane and natural gas?
Propane: A hydrocarbon (CH), stored as a liquid under pressure.
Natural Gas: Mostly methane (CH), typically delivered as a gas through pipelines.
Will I use more propane than fuel oil?
Propane: ~91,500 BTUs per gallon
Fuel Oil: ~138,500 BTUs per gallon
