  We’ve been customers of Garthwaite for years . Last year we needed our oil tank replaced . Since we are seasonal resident we decided to hold off til this fall to replace . After several attempts to get the service manager to call me back I have given up . I cannot recommend this company . Find someone who cares enough to return a phone call

  The young man Kevin, who cleaned our furnace today was a wonderful and very pleasant guy. We hope to have him again next year because it's always a pleasure to have someone explain things to us and we felt very comfortable with him. The girls in the office in person and on the phone when we signed up to pre-buy our kerosene, we are also very very nice. Very happy with the service of this company

  I called Garthwaite today in the late-morning to inquire about availability to help me with a furnace that is inoperable right now. They told me they would talk to the service techs and call me back. Never heard back. I called in before 4 and the story is now that I can't get service because I am not an oil customer. Fine, whatever. But that information would have been much more useful at 11am when I could have made more calls. Poor communication and no accountability, basically tried to tell me that they didnt take my number down right and couldnt reach me later on. Doesn't add up.. I wasn't an oil customer at 11 so just tell me that right away and I can try to find actual help!

  great people to do business with, crew that came to install my new furnace and tank were the best I have had. They were polite, always asked if something had to be done, extra, clean, no mess, and good sense of humor.
