  Rules change as to days delivered in my town as well as the minimum. Must be with the seasons. Receptionist always gives me a hard time as to how many gallons my tank will take. I pay the bills and know what the tank reads and how many gallons it took. A $35.00 service charge if under 150 gallon minimum. So I didn't get it. Now oil went up .50 from Friday to Monday. NICE. Time to switch to a wood burner or gas.

  They wouldnt deliver saying there was snow in the way which is not true, wouldn't come back when I said they can use the sidewalk which is clear and run it up my steps and walkway, I can touch where it is to fill right from my front step which has zero snow. Apparently they want to go through the front lawn not up the walkway not sure why. Driver refused to come back literally one minute later when i told the lady on the phone I will show him how I can easily access it. Lady was rude on the phone with me first gave me an attitude immediately, and then said I dont need to swear at her which I did not direct any swear word at her. Called another company and they said that snow is not an issue and never has been for them so now you lost a good paying customer. Photo to see how easy he could access it.

  First time homeowner and my first time living in an oil-heated historic home — so I’m learning. I’m writing this the day of my first delivery, which is a Monday. I thought it would be important to mention the customer service experience first. I called on Friday (3 days ago) to schedule my first order to fill the tank. I explained that I was unfamiliar with the process and was a first time homeowner. The person I spoke to on the phone was very professional and assisted me with a genuine tone of care and kindness. I didn’t detect a whiff of judgement, which was appreciated. She helped me find my oil tank’s capacity, estimate the volume needed, and project the estimated top-up cost. She gets 5 stars from me — although, I didn’t catch her name (sorry!) I called in the day of the delivery to confirm the time — its hard for them to know when they’ll get to your house along their route for that day, but they were able to let me know my place along the route and that the delivery would happen in the afternoon. I think her name was Pauline. Pauline called back 30 minutes before Chad was due to arrive so I could be ready to show him the two oil tanks I have. Pauline gets 5 stars. Chad was on-time, very polite, and definitely seemed to know what he was doing. He made sure to differentiate from my tenant’s tank and my tank, inspected the tanks for leaks and other signs of damage or improper installment, then proceeded immediately with the fill-up. Not a drop of oil was spilled. He put a copy of the bill in my mailbox so I could stay out of the cold and then he was on his way to his next stop. Chad also gets 5 stars. Luzo Fuel earned my business on day 1 and will get a call from me again when it’s time to fill-up once more. 10/10, would recommend.
