- JJJeremiah JanssonDec 26, 20255.0I have been using this scrap yard now going on 5 yrs or longer. The customer service is top notch, nobody hassles you like I have experienced from other scrap yards I have been to in the past when I first started scraping. One time I went there and cashed out, on my way home I looked at the slip and realized the girl had mistakenly switched my light and heavy iron On accident, so I lost out on somewhere around 27 bucks, I called her right away and explained what had happened. She was so kind, apologized for the mistake and told me I could Come back for that money anytime. I didn’t have another good load to take there for almost a yr or might have been even longer, but the next time I went there and saw her, I didn’t even have to ask her for that money, she pulled out an envelope with my name on it and the cash was still there. I couldn’t believe it. Needles to say this is the only scrap yard I will be going to so long as they are still in business and is the best scrap yard hands down. The people who work there are all friendly and the girl who works in the office always makes you leave with a smile, not to mention she is beautiful:) Don’t take my word for it, check it out for yourself, I promise you will not regret it.

Man do I wish I waited and scrapped the job out the following day (i wouldnt have had the trailer to easy off load, but i know for a fact the guys here would have helped me unload in a heart beat). I got hosed big time for 2.25 tons of what should have been #1 steel.. like I always get for the same material at F&D... I highly recommend F&D for all your scrap.. BEST PRICES AROUND. HONEST AND VERY HELPFUL!!!
