  So first off, I would like to say that this was my first experience with the designing and building of a new structure. My wife and I did a lot of homework prior to the passing of the new ADU laws in Massachusetts so we felt as though we were ahead of the game. I can truly say Paul and Francine deserve a lot of credit for assisting with our project from start to finish. There were a lot of hurdles that we didn't plan for that they made as simple for us as they could. We were building a detached ADU on an existing property that we owned, so we could be "snowbirds". Our plan called for a couple of upgrades so we could save for our southern home. When we first saw and walked through our new ADU we were extremely satisfied with the quality of the product. We would highly recommend dealing with this crew. A very high-quality product at a reasonable cost.

  We had several meetings with Mod-Tech to discuss feasibility of our plans. Unfortunately, we were not able to move forward at this time. We found Mod-tech the team has a wealth of knowledge and truly appreciated the open and honest approach to building it new home. we look forward to working with them in the near future .

  This is what a modern home-building process should feel like!! From the very beginning, Francine and Paul made us feel understood and cared for. They walked us through design concepts, zoning considerations, timelines, and budget models with clarity and expertise. Their ability to take a vision and translate it into a thoughtful, buildable plan was incredible. What stood out most was their genuine passion. Paul offered solutions that balanced practicality, aesthetics, and long-term durability in ways that made us feel confident and excited. It never felt transactional—they truly wanted the project to succeed. Their modular approach is impressive: efficient, workable, and much more refined than anything we’d seen before. Even as we explored financing, permitting, and design revisions, they were right there with us, responding quickly and guiding through each step. We walked away feeling not just educated, but inspired. If you’re considering a modular home or even in the early stages of exploring what’s possible, Mod Tech Homes is the team you want by your side. Their honesty, expertise, and vision are rare in this industry. We would recommend them without hesitation.

  Extremely unprofessional. Lacks transparency through entire process. Poor communication and can’t remember anything. Their disorganization wastes time and resources. Would never use them again or recommend them.
