- CLChuck LamarDec 27, 20251.0I took a set of heads to be rebuilt and was told 10 days. 4 days later they called and said they were ready to be picked up. Went and picked up and took them to my Mechanic to install just to find out these were not my heads I brought in to be rebuilt. My mechanic call me to inform me there was a busted stud in 1 of the heads which my heads came off clean. After calling Richard’s they couldn’t believe that there was anything wrong and it was impossible that they could have missed a busted stud. My mechanic had to redo his work and I had to pay extra $ because of their lack of quality control. Make sure you get back what you took in unless you don’t care and they didn’t offer any kind of help with the additional time I had to pay my mechanic to redo his work.
- AGAustin GoebelOct 31, 20255.0I wish i could give 10 stars brought JR a 99 6.0 LS short block i just got it loaded in my truck and im already beyond happy!!! Already gained more power with him putting in flat top pistons and getting rid of the gen 3 dished pistons i dont know he was doing that and im beyond estatic and excited to put this 6.0 to use!! Will drive to indy from kokomo for EVERY motor not just LS he super knowledgeable about all ton of manufacturers motors!! Will be back again with my 5.3 for sure!!!! Ive called every day with silly questions they were never rude by any means all very and very family oriented!! The office ladies are amazing too!!!
- TSTodd SmithMar 9, 20235.0I have used them twice. First time I bought a cylinder head off of them that they had already went through and redid. Worked out great with no problems once installed. Second I took a cylinder head in and had them redo it for me. Again no issues. I like helping out family owned businesses. And they definitely treat you better when they are. Keep up the good work. I will use them again and recommend everyone to give them a shot.
