  Just a shout out to everyone at House of Glass -Thanks for helping me with my not so usual glass project. In the past year or so I replaced 23 panes of laminated glass on my boat. Every piece was a different size, most were not square. I required rounded, smooth edges and radiused corners. You all were friendly, competent, and professional. You did work in a minimal amount of time. Highly recommended. First class!

  I asked a friend to recommend someone to replace the garden window which had moisture in between the panes. His response was immediate, House of Glass in Elmhurst! My mom's house is in Schaumburg. I called them and Drew was out within one day to measure and write an estimate. I received the estimate, paid the deposit and the glass was ordered a day later. Less than two weeks later Brian and Tony arrived with the new glass. They were courteous and extremely careful. Brian reassured mom throughout the process. Tony cleaned the frame of all the old caulk. The two men worked well together to remove and replace the glass and it was completed within a short time. Tony took the time to clean all of the glass on the outside and Brian cleaned up the glass on the inside. It looks great! Brian and Tony worked well together and left my mom feeling comfortable with work well done.

  I had this anniversary gift idea to turn an empty Grey Goose bottle into a vase, but no clue how to make it happen. After posting about it in a community forum, Matt reached out and assured me they were able to make it happen. After taking it in, Melanie’s excitement for the project was so genuine and welcoming, it felt like she was just as invested in my little vision as I was. The final vase turned out even better than I imagined. If you’re ever looking for someone who can take a creative idea and actually make it real, I can’t recommend them enough. Thank you again for turning a random wish into something so special. I’m beyond grateful!

  I had glass replaced in a frame. The frame was bowed and no longer fit the glass when I received it. I attempted to install the glass but it would not fit. I had to return to have the frame corrected. I was told they would have it ready the same day. I received a call at 4:57PM, they close at 5:00 PM, letting me know the frame was fixed. They offered to have a manager stay late but I already had a commitment and could not pick it up after hours. I arrived the following day to pick up the glass. I had to ask for an adjustment to the invoice due to the issues. The glass was dirty when it was given to me. I am surprised they give customers dirty glass. Since it took over 10 minutes to clean the glass I asked why it took so long. I was told that the smudge was on the inside of the glass and they had to take the window apart. I am very disappointed that they would give someone a window with a smudge on the inside of the glass. It was a less than satisfactory experience. I hope that when I get home that the frame fits my window.
