  Drivers avoid this place at all costs. This is why I stopped coming here before because of the wait time to get unloaded and people in the office unsure of where you need to go to get unloaded. The forklift driver told me that he wouldn’t move a bundle to get his stuff off and there’s not enough unloaded to unload multiple trucks at the same time. Anyone giving this place 5 stars is trying to offset the negative reviews that they get here and are probably employees of this place.

  Today, 11-5-2025, was my 1st time delivering to Sugar Steel. Have never been here before, therefore, I was clueless to their operation and where I was to be unloaded at. The security guard motioned me through the gate, I went to check in at the shipping/receiving office, and I’m immediately greeted by one of the most unpleasant people I’ve had the misfortune of meeting. She was treating me like shit because I was trying to ask questions, treated me like I was stupid when I asked how to get to the west crane. I explained to her that it’s my first time here, but that didn’t matter. Just because I’ve never been to your facility doesn’t mean I’m incompetent. I will never deliver steel here again.
