Upon closing on my new home, the real estate agents noticed the oil tank was nearly empty and contacted Fusco Bros. Credit where it’s due: they delivered oil promptly and got the system up and running without issue.
That’s where the professionalism ended.
Despite being clearly told multiple times that the system was already running and no service call was needed, Fusco Bros still sent a service technician out. The technician arrived, confirmed exactly what we had already told the company—that the system was working fine—then sat in my driveway for roughly 30 minutes and left without performing any service.
Fast forward 20 days later, and a charge of $179.73 suddenly appears on my account.
When I called to question the charge, I was told that because a technician showed up, I was responsible for the bill—despite the fact that the service was never requested, not needed, and should have been canceled. The technician himself confirmed no work was required.
This feels like an automatic dispatch with automatic billing, regardless of customer communication. Sending unnecessary service calls and then charging for idle time is unacceptable.
Bottom line: Be very careful with this company. Even if you tell them service is not needed, they may still send someone out and bill you anyway. That’s not customer service—that’s padding hours.

I gotta tell you about this amazing company. I ran out of heating oil and got a delivery from my usual place; however, I couldn't get the boiler to restart. I called Fusco and got Chelsea on the phone, who started helping me troubleshoot so I could get it restarted myself. Mind you, I'm not a customer, but she gave me some instructions and told me to call back her back if I needed more help. Well I needed more help. I called her back and I could hear her speaking to someone else trying to figure out the issue. I decided that I wanted to have one of their technicians come out and take a look...it's not that warm out yet that I wanted to wait. Chelsea had someone at my house about an hour later! I hadn't had the boiler serviced in years so it needed maintenance. Alex came in as polite and nice as can be, got to work, and about another hour later, everything was fixed and running smoothly. I'm blown away with the customer service at Fusco! New customer right here!
