- AEArmando EstevesDec 16, 20211.0I had Don Scinto Machine Shop build me a Pontiac motor, Anthony Scinto said he had a 455 Pontiac motor for sale. I purchased the motor believing it was a Pontiac 455 engine, and had him build it for me. After having issues with oil leaks thru rear main seal with the motor since day 1. I looked up the numbers that were casted into the motor by General motors which identifies what type engine it is, it came up as a Pontiac 421 motor. And when I brought it to his attention he got loud with me and the conversation did not go well. I brought it to another machine shop to have the motor rebuilt, and they discovered that the motor cylinder was either cracked or over bored and because of that they installed a sleeve in the cylinder to repair it. Because of that, the other automotive machine shop did not want to assume the responsibility in rebuilding the motor. Now I have to purchase another motor and pay the other Automotive machine shop to rebuild me another engine. I have a invoice that states that I purchased a 455 Pontiac Motor from them and that they were building it for me.
