The Hampton Inn Wheeling Hotel in West Virginia is located near the intersection of Route 88 and Route 40, adjacent to Bob Evan's Restaurant and opposite TJs Sports Bar. We are 1 1/2 miles east of downtown, in the Woodsdale Section of Wheeling. Oglebay Resort, Jamboree USA and the Wheeling Island Hotel Casino and Racetrack are all within three miles of Hampton Wheeling. Cabela's is seven miles east on I-70 at Exit 10.
Our hotel offers an outdoor garden space, an exercise facility just off the lobby, and a GuestWorks Telephone System with voice mail and data port. We also feature Datanamics wireless internet access throughout the hotel as a complimentary service.
Hampton Inn Wheeling amenities include On the House hot breakfast and expanded cable TV access in all guest rooms. We also offer connecting rooms, complimentary cribs, in-room hair dryers and irons/ironing boards in all rooms. Refrigerators are available in our two hospitality suites on the first floor. Laundry/valet services are available during the week.
We also offer meeting facilities in our Board and Conference Rooms. Room service is usually available by calling the Bob Evans Restaurant adjacent to the hotel.

All of the staff was kind, friendly and went above and beyond making my stay exceptional. Every single staff member I encountered deserves a raise. The free hot breakfast and the indoor pool and hot tub were also an awesome bonus. Not to mention how quick and convenient the free shuttle service anywhere within a 5 mile radius was. If I ever need to visit West Virginia again, I will definitely be staying here!

Love the aquatic center and the shuttle service, but what sets the place apart is the way the staff seem invested in making sure that you're appreciating your stay. All hotels can feign that to some degree, but you can tell when it's genuine, and its genuine here. Steve in particular took very good care of us. Can't wait to stay there again!

We had no issues. This was our second time staying here for a little over night getaway from Pittsburgh and I am sure we will be back.
- MGM GNov 1, 20255.0On the surface, its a Hampton Inn and nothing especially out of the ordinary, except little things make a difference. The staff (Steve at front desk and Karen as shuttle driver) went out of their way to make it a 5-star experience. Another really nice surprising touch is the EV charging station which was free. They also did a nice job taking a Hampton Inn and making it feel special with excellent hospitality and the nicest pool, spa, and steam room of any mid-grade hotel. Well done taking a Hampton Inn and making it feel like a flagship Hilton!
