This hotel is definitely missing out on the little details. From a squeaky, bathroom door, a humming mini fridge, loud closing doors, pealing bathroom paint and the tiny spots to eat in your breakfast area.
First, little WD40 could go a long way. Our bathroom door was super squeaky, so anytime anyone went to the bathroom it disturb everyone and a few times when people were sleeping.
People across the hall came back drunk at 3 AM and they were in and out of the hall for about 30 minutes. I probably wouldn’t have had too much of a problem, if it wasn’t for how loud the doors closed. They slammed Everytime the door shut.
We’ve had humming mini fridges before, that was just annoying to try to go to sleep to. Want to include we had a bubbling ceiling, starting to peal down in the bathroom.
They could have done a little better with the furniture in the breakfast area. Definitely areas for improvement, especially the tiny table next to the breakfast area, and the tall chairs. Thankfully, someone got up and we moved, but we never saw a super short table and tall chair set up like that at a Hampton inn before.
We frequently visit Hampton Inns. We definitely have higher expectations for this brand. But they missed their marks with such silly things. Hoping to help them out with this review.
Things we were happy about, keyless entry, breakfast was yummy, rooms were clean, and staff were very nice.
It is within walking distance of the stadium so I can see why people would love this spot.

Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable and staff was very friendly. I didn't have any issues with my stay. One of the best places I've stayed for the value. Plenty of parking. Breakfast was definitely a highlight, many options and I loved that it stays open 6-10am as I wake up later in the mornings. I would definitely come back here again.

I had a terrible experience at this hotel due to what appeared to be discriminatory treatment. My friends and I made two reservations — one online and one in person — and were charged $290 for the first one. When we arrived, the staff suddenly added an unexpected $50 fee after seeing us and stated that if we caused any damage, we’d be charged extra. This felt unfairly targeted and uncomfortable.
To make matters worse, we were told there had been a noise complaint about us before we had even checked in, which made absolutely no sense and only added to how unfairly we felt we were being treated.
The manager was extremely unprofessional and refused to speak with us directly, instead sending another employee to communicate on her behalf. We never saw or spoke to a woman during our stay. The man at the front desk was polite and helpful, but the management’s overall handling of the situation was dismissive and passive aggressive.
We ultimately had to book online again just to secure a room, despite already having reservations. The entire experience left us feeling disrespected and unwelcome. I would strongly advise others not to stay here — the management’s behavior was unprofessional, unfair, and discriminatory
