We stayed there last minute on our journey home this weekend. The staff was very friendly. The woman working the buffet ( which was the Best free breakfast we have had) was darling! We appreciated the holiday spirit of this location. The ONLY negative comment was that we could Hear the tv from the next room…. Not sure if that was a fluke Or if the walls run thin. Otherwise, we would stay here again!

We had to wait for over an over after our check in time because a clean room wasn't available. The staff had to be reminded multiple times to check on our room and then refused any partial refund. We talked with the extremely rude and unprofessional assistant manager, Precious Davis, and she lied to us that our check-in time wasn't guaranteed. The manager did not respond to an email complaint and we had to go through Booking.com to finally get money off. On top of all of the terrible customer service, the TV in the room had a barely functioning remote. Would not recommend staying here.

I've stayed here a few times visiting the nearby hospital, and every time I get put right next to a loud room even though 2/3 of the rooms are empty. They have to know the walls are paper thin. Why mush guests right up against each other when there's plenty of space? Come on. It wouldn't kill the housekeeping staff to walk an extra fifteen feet down the hall, but it would make every single guest happier not to be awakened by someone else's child or dog.

BUGS and MORE BUGS! Noise and AC doesn't work well. Bugs buzzing past your ears while you're trying to sleep is not really what I expect from a Hilton. Bugs here don't just fly but may crawl up your legs too. The bugs, they would say, are harmless and in season, but it's an infestation. It's not a good excuse to have them in your hotels just because they are in season. Other hotels don't have them. The institutions and establishments I visit don't have them. Walls are thin and you WILL hear EVERYTHING. Doors slam! I was offered another room, still have bugs in them. I slept for less than a couple of hours. I was booked a 2-night stay for business in the area but I checked out early after just one night and asked for a refund for my second night. Having said that, the staff remained calm, professional, and pleasant... and beautiful. Sorry about this review but people must be warned. You can learn a lot from Hampton Inn in Abingdon, VA. That's the best one and their doors don't slam, not at all.
