This place was clean. Thus was our send time here. We came back the second time because we believe that second chance can be a changing experience. But not this time.

We spent three nights here during the Marshall U Marathon. Public areas and the room were very clean. Room is decent size. Yes, there are some scratches on furniture, but this is no Ritz, and Huntington is no (insert your fave luxe destination). The stay was perfectly adequate for the purpose. Gym is decently sized with two treadmill, an elyptical and three bikes (why?). We did not use the valet and parked outside (free on weekends). There is no housecleaning during the stay - you just get new towls (if the cleaning staff gets to you, otherwise you find them and they will bring towels). Windows could use washing

This hotel is... fine. On the plus side, the rooms are clean, the hotel is centrally located, and the price is good. Those are the three most important things for me, so I can't be too upset. There is, however, a noticeable lack of attention to detail. For example, there is no free parking: it's valet parking only and costs $10. The Google summary is incorrect. The water pressure is quite weak, and the toilet paper is thin. There were measurements written on our wallpaper, presumably from when it was cut, and the area around the bathroom mirror is speckled with what seem to be flecks of plaster or drywall. The wallpaper seems extremely new, but hasn't been applied correctly and is coming up in a few places. The bathroom light also flickers quite a lot when turned on. There's an AC unit in the room which is very effective, but it's also a bit loud and clatters/clangs through the night. If you just need a place to crash for the night, it does the job. If you're spending a week in Huntington, I'd spring for somewhere slightly nicer.
