- GOGreg & Melanie Owens1 day ago4.0We have stayed in Embassy suites before and as usual it was a great experience. We especially want to acknowledge Gage, the valet Manager. We were unable to use the garage parking as we had a large luggage carrier on top of our car. We had spent 25 minutes on the phone ahead of time with some staff member and they were not offering any suggestions for help for our situation. However, when we pulled up, Gage immediately addressed us and explained that we could do metered parking on the street. As it turned out, there was only 1 metered parking space left, and the person in front of that had taken more than their share of space. My husband was unable to maneuver our car into that small space. So we were prepared to have to pay $21 for the valet parking. However, Gage offered to park the car for us. Sure enough he did a masterful job maneuvering our car in a VERY small space between those vehicles. For us, after being on the road all day long, that was above and beyond for service and we were very grateful. We found the entire staff to be considerate and respectful. The only downside of our visit was group of kids celebrating a birthday who were running up and down the hall in front of our room. Paige, one of the managers, was quick to act on that for us. Overall, great place to stay, fantastic breakfast selection, and spacious rooms. Side note: Coffee SHOULD be available all the time, not just during breakfast hours!

We used our app on the phone to open the doors to get our stuff. John came up and made sure that we were the owners of the vehicle and we greatly appreciate his attention to that detail!!! Also Delica was a pleasure at the front desk. We really enjoyed talking to her!

- HFHolly FisherOct 26, 20255.0Everything was top notch at the Embassy in Charleston, WV. Peter, the shuttle driver, was extremely knowledgeable os the city. He recommended shopping, bakeries, restaurants and more. All the staff was so nice and ready to assist. The breakfast buffet was great. Wide variety of food and beverages. Everything was kept clean, which is usually hard when most folks just leave their dirty plates and mugs on the table. The staff was extremely efficient in keeping everything clean and tidy. We will be back.
