I’m coming back home after section hiking the Appalachian Trail with my dog and he let me know pretty quickly that he’s too bougie for wilderness camping so far from home (when we camp in Indiana, he has no problem overnighting on some backpacking trails… evidently the wild animals in Virginia really creep him out! (maybe he can smell the bears? We don’t have those in Indiana.) Now we are laying in a king size bed in this hotel about to pass out. He’s calm and quiet and seems content, finally! His trained to lay only on his blanket when we visit hotels. Obviously I’m biased, but he is such a good dog. The receptionist was incredibly friendly and another individual who works for the hotel gave my dog treats. To be completely honest he’s the entire reason why I bought this hotel room today. I was perfectly fine camping outside even in the cold but the moment your dog is uncomfortable, the trip is over! I’m thankful that this hotel chain is home away from home. Thank you so much for a restful nights sleep.

- CECaleigh ElizabethDec 17, 20251.0I used to love this hotel, I’ve stayed here numerous times with excellent service, then I found a bug in my bed, I’ve never seen a bed bug before so I took a picture and brought it to the front desk, the desk clerk got defensive, said I couldn’t get a refund and said It’s probably a lantern fly. I’ve seen lantern flies and this was NOT a lantern fly, after googling a bed bug, it was for sure a bed bug, I was placed into a different room and all was settled because I “wasn’t allowed to have a refund” which I didn’t ask for by the way, but would absolutely love one now. Here I am, 2 weeks later, with medical bills and on steroids, disgusted and feeling violated covered in bed bug bites. Do what you will with this information.
