Before I arrived, I had a few questions and Cajla Gbedey was so helpful and informative. The Hampton Inn West Bend is in a great location. I wish I got the name of the women who both checked us in and out. She was also very friendly and helpful. What a great group on staff at The Hampton Inn. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Morning breakfast really delicious. We will be staying there on our next trip

I stayed at this hotel due to a wedding booking for family. I was extremely delayed to my arrival due to weather, and forgot to contact them to alert them of my arrival time. The manager Sherra was extremely abrupt upon my initial communications, and frightened me stating that there wouldn’t be no rooms available.…… Then when I alerted her of my Hilton honor status, and she looked further into reservation availability, she was able to locate us a room. When arriving to the room, sheets were clean, floors were vacuumed, and there was plenty full, clean bathroom linens as well. The bathroom did not have a fan to ventilate the hot air from the shower, and minimal toilet paper provided. I had to go to the receptionist twice to request more! The morning breakfast was hot, clean, and delicious for the available hours. It was a sweet touch that they offered bagels, with peanut butter and jelly, and an apple and water bottle for on the go use. this hotel had a pool and gym, which was a nice touch as well! Each floor had an ice machine, although it did not give me peace of mind that each floor did not have cameras for additional security. When checking out extremely early in the morning, the receptionist was in the kitchen, which did not give me peace of mind that they had ANY IDEA as to whom was coming in and out of the facility. This location was convenient to a Walmart, gas station, and numerous other food chains as well! It was approximately 45 minutes from the Milwaukee International Airport, would highly recommend to have a rental car if traveling from out of town.
I ended up extending my stay in West Bend and chose the Hampton Inn. One thing I’ve always appreciated about Hampton Inns is their consistent look and feel.
I booked a suite, but honestly, it felt like a standard king room with more space — same furniture and amenities, just spread out. Unless you really need the extra room, I’d recommend saving a bit and going with a regular room.
Unfortunately, the biggest downside of my stay was the bathroom. The shower had low water pressure, and I couldn’t get the temperature past lukewarm, even after letting it run for a while. The shower head’s adjustment lever didn’t seem to work. On top of that, the bathroom door wouldn’t fully close because it caught on the floor — I’m not sure if the floor was too high or the door was just hung too low.
On the positive side, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast was nice. I appreciated the late checkout, and the location is convenient — there’s a Walmart and other shopping just next door if you need anything. I also caught a beautiful sunrise right from my room window, which was a lovely bonus.
Overall, while I typically enjoy staying at Hampton Inns, the bathroom issues made this stay a bit disappointing.

One of the worst hotel rooms ever! No fan in bathroom, poor ventilation in rooms, bed was very uncomfortable, housekeeping didn’t refresh coffee service in room and front desk staff were not helpful.

We stayed at this Hampton Inn for a family wedding at a local venue. The staff is friendly, and the rooms are very spacious and clean! Their complimentary breakfast was delicious, with many hot and cold options to choose from. They also keep hot coffee & water in the lounge with tea & hot cocoa packets (even late into the night). I highly recommend this hotel! :)
