From the moment you check in to dining at the restaurant, the staff is warm, welcoming, and genuinely happy to be there—it really shows in every interaction. The food? Incredible. The menu at the restaurant rotates every few months (I still dream about that caramel crème brûlée!), and every dish I’ve tried during my four stays has been outstanding. You can tell there’s real thought behind the menu and care in the presentation. The pool area is gorgeous—I love relaxing in the hot tub at night and again early in the morning. Families will appreciate the wading pool for little ones, and the entire area is well-equipped and beautifully maintained. The rooms are spotless and inviting, with thoughtful touches like a handwritten Welcome note waiting on the desk when I arrived. Such a small gesture, but it made a big impact. Honestly, I wish I could clone this hotel everywhere I travel. It’s fantastic in every way. Thank you, Hilton Wausau, for setting the bar so high!

The staff were so friendly our whole visit, the amenities were clean and were in well lit spaces. The rooms were comfortable and spacious with modern upgrades—the windows especially were amazing! Would absolutely stay again, especially after a long day of skiing!

The new hotel smell was still in effect. The pool was amazing for our little water baby who appreciated the kiddy wading pool. The rooms with automatic curtains and beautiful windows was a treat. I wish we had time to eat in the restaurant but it looked nice! We will be back that’s for sure! Great job, Hilton! Staff here deserves a shoutout for an impressive location.
