Try checking in again at 2:50, still won't let me check in, okay, hotel policy, whatever. Then they told me my room type isn't available, and they don't know when it will be, now I'm annoyed, but I have family that already checked in so we get ready and head to the event. Fast forward to after the wedding, 5pm and we arrive back at the hotel to get ready for dinner. Our room, still, is not available. I was supposed to be in this room 2 hours ago, but they can't manage to do the most basic thing a hotel is supposed to do. We wait for 35 minutes before they finally let me know our room is ready. A 20% reimbursement was nice, but the whole situation was extremely infuriating. Will be staying here ever again.

Instead, we were immediately turned away at the front desk with no explanation, no alternatives offered, and not even a hint of concern. The person working made it very clear he did not care — not about the weather we just came through, not about the misleading availability listed on their own website, and certainly not about customer service. We took our business across the street, where we were welcomed kindly and treated with basic human decency — something the front desk here could benefit from being trained in. Disappointing experience from a place we expected better from.
