  Very simplistic rooms. Hard/firm beds, flat pillows (bring your own or use a rolled up towel). Staff was great, breakfast was good.

  The lounge lobby area was great, but the best part, the front desk staff were wonderful. Helped us navigate food options, and they pointed us in the right direction.

  I really enjoyed my stay, the room was clean and welcoming. I didn't care for the verdant wall thermostat worth motion sensor. I think whoever sold that to hotels needs a special place in hell.. the room is very comfortable when you go to sleep then you wake up hot because the ac shut off as the motion sensor didn't see movement... other than that a great room. Clean, comfortable bed with nice linens, very large television, and a micro fridge. NO microwave in room (inconvenient when you have your own food to heat, its was convenient when I purchased the hotel food as it was right there). I have seen a few hotels doing this now, not sure why but im going to start paying attention to room descriptions. The window shade and night blind was wonderful. Almost no outside light in my room. The bathroom was big enough to do what I needed to do. The hotel has a 24 hour fitness center, water filling station and a pool that closes at 2300 (11pm) I made it to the pool area after hrs so I took a photo though the glass. The lobby is rather large and has many good spots, they have the swing half egg chairs, little alcoves you can huddled in , a cute little business center and for recreation they have a pool table. All this can be monitored by the front desk which is mostly in the middle. I missed breakfast so I can't comment on that. Over all its a great value for your money, it sticks to the Hilton standards that i have become accustomed to. Oh and before I forget, they have a wall with local information like local bars, local shopping, local Attractions and local shopping, not only is it convenient to know but it's supporting the local community, this is the second time I actually took note of it a hotel doing this, I have only seen it at Tru by Hilton hotels. Its across from the elevators in both hotels.

  Although the hotel is a relatively new build, our room provided one of the worst night's sleep I've ever had. The loud fan in the bathroom ran the entire time. The climate control for the room constantly varied between heat and AC, so it was cycling on and off all night and often blew cold air out. We were up at 12:30 AM trying to get the cold air to stop, and twice the front desk staff tried resetting the system for our room, but that didn't work. I'd never stay at this hotel again.

  My daughter and I staying at Tru by Hilton Oshkosh when we were in Oshkosh for a swim meet. We couldn't get into the hotel that the swim team had a room block in so I found Tru and am I glad I did! This hotel was SO nice. First of all, its located right next to a Starbucks! Winning! Second, the hotel is so clean, warm, well decorated and inviting. The lobby/lounge/breakfast area is HUGE! Many different seating options including couches, tables and chairs, counters with barstools, and individual areas for studying or work. There is a pool table in this area as well as three drawers with TONs of games! The hotel features a workout room and swimming pool (I did not see a hot tub and we did not use the pool). Our room was so nice. Wood floors throughout. Super clean and nicely decorated. Beautiful, big bathroom with a night light! (Never seen nightlight before in a hotel, nice touch!) The window had electric shades and the room darkening shade made the room completely black! (Huge brownie points in my book) Continental breakfast was nice and consistent with what I've experienced at most hotels. The one bonus was whipped cream and tons of toppings for pancakes. OH and the staff was amazing, friendly and helpful. I got a text soon after my arrival making sure everything was good and that I didn't need anything. I would DEFINITELY recommend this hotel to others and will choose it again when I visit Oshkosh! Thank you Tru! ❤️
