I don’t even know where to start about how perfectly wonderful this hotel is! It’s a beautiful old building with character and charm located in downtown Milwaukee, convenient and walkable to restaurants, theaters, and attractions. The room felt much more luxurious than I expected. Even better than the building is the staff. Every single person we encountered, without exception, seemed to be making it their priority to see that we were well taken care of and having a great time. From the front desk staff to housekeeping to the restaurant server and the omelet chef, everybody bent over backward to be friendly and accommodating. The manager even texted me to check in and see if we needed anything! Amazing! The valet people are spectacular, as well. We needed to get some things out of our car and asked for the keys so we could walk across the street to retrieve them, but they insisted on bringing the car to us instead. This is where I’ll stay every time I go to Milwaukee. It’s truly one of a kind!

To say this hotel is gorgeous is an absolute understatement! I was taken away by the beauty inside and outside this hotel. The view from our window in our corner room looking at the architecture of the buildings around us was absolutely gorgeous! The rooms are nice and well laid out with high ceilings, which was nice. There is a microwave and small refrigerator and the temperature control seemed to work well. It was not the most comfortable bed I’ve ever stayed in in a hotel, but it wasn’t the worst either. I feel the mattresses could definitely use an upgrade. The service at check-in was top-notch, super friendly, personable, and helpful. We had to end up, leaving early because of an issue at home, but we will definitely come back here and stay again in the future. We did not get to try the bar area, but the valet parking was Decent, he was friendly and prompt with getting our car as we left. The one complaint I have is that there is no way to get the carts for your luggage down to the ground level by your car, you have to carry your luggage up the steps and then put it on the cart, and the valet Parker does not help with that and there was no one else to help either. It’s not the worst thing in the world just something I noticed. Overall, this is an excellent hotel And I highly recommend staying here.

Great location with much around to do. 2nd time here with a better experience than last time however very drafty windows in the room, not terrible. Valet was far better than last experiences. The concerning part, came back from some outings with the bar to be open until midnight. Showed up at 11:20, only for the bartender tell us she already put all bottles away so beer is the only option. Then she proceeded to say the bar across the street is open. Crazy to think that would be the action and response to a service that is supposed to be available.

This hotel is a gem! It only cost $114 for a King room on Saturday night and it's in a beautiful old building with incredible original staircase. The room had high ceilings and a whole wall of arched window. The windows were dirty but that was the only distraction from a perfect stay. It's close to the Water Street bars and clubs. We easily walked around and found a parking place right on the street.
