The rooms are nice but the people(staff) are prejudice. When I pay my money I would love to be treated fair. After kicking me out for no reason they didn’t return my money.

Due to my dad becoming suddenly ill, I decided to visit him on Monday, Nov. 10. I chose not to fly due to the air traffic controller issues at all the major airports. So I decided last minute to drive from Louisiana (14 hours away) to make the visit. While enroute, I called DoubleTree Downtown and booked a room. This was an effortless task. Jose was the agent who assisted me over the phone and he was most understanding and very caring about my situation. Upon arriving 14 hours later that evening, I was greeted at the front desk by Daniel, who was so very nice and accomodating. He gave me complimentary coffee vouchers for the next morning and directions to the hospital where my dad was staying. As well, the valet (I forget his name) was very patient and helpful as I slowly unpacked all my belongings from the car. The next morning, Rick and Mari greeted me with open arms and they were very helpful with directions and in answering so many other questions I had about the restaurants, etc. For the entire time I stayed at the DoubleTree (Nov. 10-14), these staffers continued to offer top-notch service. They were kind, professional, accomodating, and knowledgeable. And most importantly, they consistently provided excellent service with a smile in their voices via phone and on their faces when I encountered them in person. This was a very uneasy time for me, and these things mattered most - and I am most appreciative for the support and kindness each of them showed me time and time again. And I must say also, the hotel itself lives up to the Hilton brand (clean, accessible, safe area) - very nice accomodations for me. I will most certainly return upon my next visit to Milwaukee. Jose, Daniel, Rick and Mari...Thanks to you all for a great experience. Keep up the good work.

I had to book a last minute hotel due to a winter storm. I must say, I'm glad I found this hotel. The management is very welcoming and friendly. The rooms are nice, beds are very comfy, it's nice that there was a coffee maker which was really good. There's a fitness room to workout at and a restaurant in the hotel and there's other restaurants nearby. Parking is literally next to the hotel for a small fee. I strongly recommend this hotel. I will definitely be back.

The hotel was wonderful with a greeting from the hotel staff with cookies and water. They were very helpful throughout our stay. The manager even opened the restaurant for us to dine to make our departure easier. Wonderful location, great staff in the hotel and the buffet was fabulous for breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel when traveling.
