As a long-time Hilton customer with over 20 years of business travel experience—and nearing Diamond status—I feel compelled to share feedback that extends beyond this single property and speaks to a broader trend within the Hilton portfolio.
This location is another example of the continued removal or reduction of spa and pool amenities. Increasingly, it appears that franchise owners are choosing to eliminate these features rather than invest in maintaining what were once standout offerings. While I understand cost pressures as a business owner myself, the steady erosion of core amenities is noticeable and disappointing.
There was a time when Hilton properties provided spaces to truly unwind after a long workday—relaxing in a spa or pool, or even enjoying an early-morning coffee poolside before heading out. Prior to recent industry shifts, some properties even offered extended or 24-hour access, which was especially valuable for business travelers with early starts or late finishes. Today, even properties that retain amenities often restrict them to such limited hours that they are effectively unusable.
Housekeeping has followed a similar trajectory. Daily room service was once standard, and returning to a freshly cleaned room with a made bed and new towels felt like a hallmark of Hilton hospitality—even at moderately priced properties.
I want to be clear: the staff at this property are excellent, professional, and attentive. There is nothing inherently wrong with the hotel itself. My concern lies with broader operational decisions made at the ownership and brand level that, over time, diminish the experience that built Hilton’s reputation and guest loyalty.
I share this feedback not as a complaint against this team, but as constructive input from a loyal guest who has consistently chosen Hilton for business travel and hopes to see the brand recommit to the amenities and service standards that once set it apart.
