Repainted room, new floors and tile. Very dark, small mirror, old furnishings. Not very clean, hair band and small screws on carpet, pink mold starting on shower ceiling, wall paper peeling behind door. At least they could have rehung the curtains instead of leaving them falling down. Very disappointed for the price. Breakfast standard hotel, did have fresh fruit and charged an extra $10.00.

Good location for walking to everything downtown Olympia. Friebdly staff. Mildly disappointed with the hotel itself. We had room 340, right in the top corner. Strange layout - the shower and toilet are separate to the mirror and sink, which are in the room itself. The carpets are somewhat old. Room was clean enough. They are in the process of remodeling the hotel, and unfortunately the workmen were starting at 8am every morning right outside our window with the beeping of the boom lift beeping right outside as they started. The Holiday Inn in Chehalis I stayed in a few weeks ago was far superior (for similar price). Also breakfast costs $9.95 per head - I would have expected that ti be complimentary in a hotel. No matter as there are plenty of other breakfast options nearby.

Stayed one night on our way between Ranier and Vancouver Island and had an excellent stay! Room was clean, very comfy bed, front desk staff was super friendly and helpful with bar/restaurant recs. We really enjoyed the pool as well, and were glad it was open so early! We really enjoyed downtown as well and hope to return.

The rooms and building are older but they're fine. Nothing great. The location is fantastic if you're gonna be hanging around "downtown" Olympia. It's about a 15 minute walk to the capitol campus and lots of good restaurants nearby (The Leaning Maple and Mi Luna were our favorites). Staff was good.
