I needed to stay in the area for business for a single weeknight and chose this hotel because if its close proximity to where I needed to be. I checked in via their app the day before arriving, after they sent me a notice to check in. I don’t like Hilton’s check-in process via their app as it asks you to select a room (like I know which room to select, especially if I’ve never been to this property previously). And if you don’t, they select a room for you, which is fine enough, but what happens when I arrive and that room isn’t ready? Well, if a room is selected the day before, that should tell the hotel’s housekeeping to get that specific room ready by the check-in time selected. The other thing I don’t like about Hilton’s check-in process is they don’t let you select times before their “standard” check-in time of 3PM, which is EXTREMELY UNREASONABLE to business travelers! We often stay only one night at a property and often need the ability to be in the room based on when we arrive in a city (typically via air) and based on meetings and schedules of what might need to be done later in the day. Thus, again, housekeeping should have all rooms ready in time for check-in, especially if you’re not going to let people check-in early (before 3PM). This is one of the main reasons I don’t stay in Hiltons unless absolutely necessary. I stay about 130 – 150 nights per year in Marriott properties because they’ll let me check in as soon as I land and drive to a property, which can be as early at 8AM!! Moving on – the lady checking me in told me that my room wasn’t ready when I arrived, and I arrived after 3PM! So, I told her I didn’t care which room they gave me, just give me one that’s a single, king bed, which she quickly found and gave me. The room wasn’t very clean; there was mold in the shower’s basin and grout. The desk chair had a stain right where the crotch of the previous user was (hmmm… wonder what they were doing? GROSS!) and I found a similar stain on a chair next to the bed also – yuck again! The bed was decent. Water pressure was ok, but didn’t get very hot. Toilet paper was malfunctioning, when I pulled the toilet paper, the roll flew right off the holder and into the trash bin below it. Overall, it was an ok stay, but I’ll stick to the nearby Marriott properties next time I’m in the area.

At check in I was charged $36 more than what was confirmed through a reservation, through Hilton honors. I learned after the checking process was complete that I had the option of paying and additional $15 to park in the garage. The shuttle only takes individuals 2 miles from the hotel. Even with the shuttle was not in use, they would not take us to the wedding 4 miles away. I was even able to ask the manager if he would make a concession. There was minimal lighting in the room and one of the bulbs kept flickering. Several guest from the hours of 06:15 - 07:30 could not locate an front desk attendant. The lobby coffee was not made available until about 07:00. The free continental breakfast was garbage. The eggs tasted really strange and watery, so my family only ate bagels and bacon. I overheard most guest being told that they would have to pay $16 for the buffet. My wife was able to get the $36 back from the overcharge at check in, but it wasn't easy. I will be posting this to google reviews.

I was disappointed with both the customer service and the amenities. The hotel advertises a business center, but when I arrived, it was just an empty room—no computers at all. When I asked the front desk, they said that no hotel has computers anymore since COVID. That’s simply not true, as many hotels including Hilton Garden Inns still do. Later, I stopped by the restaurant around 9:30 p.m. and asked for a menu. After looking it over, I decided to order the salmon, only to be told the kitchen was already closed. If that’s the case, why hand me a menu in the first place? To top it off, the ice machine on my floor didn’t work. Overall, not impressed. This property doesn’t meet the standards I’ve come to expect from Hilton.

There's pre-existing stain on the floor right behind the closed door. The room was not serviced after first night stay. The garage is insanely challenging to get out with poor design.
