I had a reservation made several days in advance, in a specific area that was essential for my trip. Despite that, the hotel canceled my reservation at the last minute and placed me in a completely different area — one that was not suitable or convenient for me at all.
Because of this lack of responsibility, I had to find another hotel on my own, last minute, and cover all additional expenses. I even had to pay for the Uber from the airport to the hotel I originally booked, where I couldn’t even stay, since they canceled without offering any proper solution. To make matters worse, they did not refund me for any of the inconvenience they caused.
A frustrating experience, with no support, no accountability, and no respect for the customer. I do not recommend this hotel.
If I could give this property 0 stars, I would. I was informed that the hotel could not accommodate my confirmed reservation due to overbooking. I can understand that overbooking happens occasionally, but I would expect to be moved to a comparable and reasonably located hotel. Instead, I was reassigned to a property that is 30+ minutes away and is not at all equivalent in quality.
As a Hilton Gold member, I have stayed with Hilton properties for years, and this is the most disappointing service experience I have encountered. At no point was I offered the option to cancel my reservation, nor was any effort made to place me at a similar nearby hotel. The communication from the hotel, both by email and at the front desk, showed no sense of customer service or empathy.
This situation reflects very poorly on the property and on Hilton. I sincerely hope that future guests do not experience the same issues.
This is a decent hotel with consistently clean and well appointed rooms in a great location. I stayed here frequently in late 2024 and early 2025 when Peter was managing. Peter and the rest of the front desk were very responsive and accommodating. That included Mr. Fatmir, who was always friendly and super helpful in locating the best available rooms according to my preferences.
I returned in October 2025 to find that the entire staff had been replaced, with the notable exception of Fatmir. The new AGM, Lord, was very personable and a pleasure to deal with. He quickly understood my room and parking requirements given my regular stays, and was happy to set me up without a problem. Fatmir has likewise always been kind and helpful, and does his best to make regular guest feel valued. It's really because of Peter, Lord, and Fatmir I've continued to stay here regularly and for prolonged periods with the reassurance that my car would be safe and accessible.
Unfortunately with Peter and now Lord gone, Fatmir is really the only one I can rely on for excellent service and hospitality at the front desk. Otherwise it's painful checking in, my room preferences are not treated as a priority, service is less than friendly or sincere, and my requests in light of the time spent here are not honored. It does make me reconsider my loyalty to this place; and if Fatmir goes, I'll definitely have better and more suitable options. Not that the new management here seems bothered.
I will say that Lissy, Mauricio, and the rest of the housekeeping team are amazing. They always remember me like a friend, could not be nicer or more positive, and do a fantastic job keeping the rooms clean. Be aware, however, that some rooms are better than others in terms of condition and maintenance. The night man Selvin is also very cool and happy to help with anything.
Overall, it's still a reasonably good value (notwithstanding the $15 parking fee), but in some cases, courtesy and hospitality need improvement. At the end of the day, hospitality is a culture and a mindset. Not certain this hotel still has it. In my opinion as an experienced traveler, Fatmir should be the manager. I think it would transform the place for the better.
