I liked that it had food accommodations very close by to the place. I checked in, dropped off my belongings, and headed out for something to eat. I found something to eat and headed back to my room to continue to eat my food. I woke up, well rested, took a shower, and checked out to move on down the road to my final destination. I would recommend the Double Tree for a place to sleep for the night. Comfy, Clean, quiet, and really good for the price. In Sterling, VA I'm sleeping at the Double Tree!

At least one large HS excursion was staying here as evidenced in the evening by all the teens at the pool and in the gym, and at breakfast time by a completely full lobby and restaurant. Staff is friendly. Workout room small but decent enough for no more than a dozen people.
