Perfect place if you are visiting Virginia or D.C. I liked the stuff including free parking with a decent complementary breakfast and super comfortable beds. I have stayed there twice on different floors and experienced same level of comfort.

No pool! Really nice staff all around, especially with the breakfast service. Only real downer is that we booked the hotel for parents specifically with the pool in mind and there is no pool despite it being all over Google Maps with pics. Disappointing.

So I'm staying at the Hotel Belvoir. I've worked late (after midnight) the past two nights. Yesterday and this morning, I was awoken at 8am by banging and rattling sounds (not your typical hotel noises like doors or people having some fun) that would occur 2-3 times and then stop for about 5 minutes, then start again. I gave up trying to sleep yesterday morning at 9:30 because it just kept happening. This morning after it happened 4-5 times, I called the front desk and reported it. They said they would investigate. It kept happening. I asked for a different room. They sent up an "engineer" who told me none of the rooms beside, above, or below me were occupied. Yet, he heard the noises himself. It's 9:50 and I'm still waiting for another room. I've got a meeting at 1, so it's unlikely I'll get back to sleep after to move. I've got another late night tonight and I'm already exhausted... I'm usually pretty patient and understanding with hotels, but this is ridiculous. Update. Hotel management called me at 6pm while I was at work responding to my request for a room change. A bit too late? I told them I wouldn't be back at my room until very late and I was leaving early in the morning so I wasn't about to change now. Fast-forward to 6AM this morning when I am awoken by severe itching on my arms. I'm extremely allergic to bedbugs. They wake me up instantly. Funny. Didn't have issues the first two nights! I have a picture of the squashed bedbug as evidence.

I recently stayed at this Hilton-brand hotel and unfortunately my experience was far from what I expect from the Hilton name. While the hotel’s location is great and the staff was generally okay, the condition of the rooms I was given was completely unacceptable. The first connected rooms had roaches, and when I requested a change, the only solution offered was to move me to another room which is typical but no points or anything, just a room move and a we can spray the room. The gentleman who assisted me with the move was very nice and helpful, but the situation itself should never have happened—especially at a Hilton property. Cleanliness and quality standards are expected to be much higher, and this experience left me very disappointed. I hope management addresses these issues immediately for future guests.
