Only recommendation is add an air fryer to the kitchenette and card reader on the laundry machines. Perfect beyond that. Thank yall so much. Alex at the overnight counter is the best!

It was our first time at this location and we decided to stay here for a night (November 14, 2025) so we can enjoy spending a whole day birthday shopping and eating at a nice restaurant in Virginia. The receptionist during check-in was nice, professional and accommodating. We asked if we could possibly do a late check out (2pm) since we were Gold members, and she checked and was able to make it happen. The rest of the stay was quiet, room was spacious and comfortable and breakfast was really good. The only downside was housekeeping. I did not appreciate essentially being kicked out of the hotel room. My husband and I came back from the breakfast lounge and wanted to sleep in a little longer before our drive back home and had planned to get up and pack our bags around 1:15pm. We woke up with a start around 12:15pm to housekeeping knocking. I opened the door and a man (Omar) abruptly asked if "we were checking out." I mentioned to him that we have a late check out. He proceeded to go through his clipboard huffy like and say we "don't have a late checkout and what name/who said we can have a late checkout. " I was a bit taken back by his attitude and mentioned that I do not know who checked us in since we were pretty busy the other day, but all I know was we were approved for a late checkout. He continued to look through his clipboard and then said, "We can't do 2pm. The latest we can give you is 1pm." At this point, I was getting frustrated with the way he was talking to me. I just wanted to be done and not ruin the rest of my birthday weekend. I said sure and left it at that. By the time I was done talking to him, it was 12:30pm and I had to rush to pack up our items so we can be downstairs and checked out before 1pm. I mentioned the interaction to the receptionist at check out and how we weren't happy with how he rushed us out and the way he talked to us. Other than that sour moment, the rest of the time there was good and both check in and check out receptionist was great.

As of November 1, this hotel, in a suburban location with ample outdoor parking implemented a $10 parking fee. This was a total rip-off as the hotel is not located anywhere that could be conveniently accessed other than by car and there is more than adequate parking available. Be warned.

A really great choice for the value. The staff was professional and friendly and the room was very spacious and clean. The kitchen is a huge plus. The one true downside was the automatic lighting in the bathroom and shower that tends to go out a few minutes. Scary when taking a shower or attempting to use the toilet. The engineer told us the box needed to be reset and it seemed ok or at least better after. Other than that, a great place.

Homewood Suites in Reston turned out to be such a comfortable and convenient stay. The rooms are super clean, spacious, and come with a full kitchenette – perfect if you’re staying a few days and want to cook a bit. The staff here are genuinely friendly and make you feel welcome right from check-in. Breakfast in the lobby area was fresh, with plenty of options to start the day right. One of the best things about this hotel is the location. It’s really close to the Metro, which makes getting into D.C. or nearby areas simple and stress-free. You’ve also got plenty of great eat-out spots nearby — from casual cafes to nice sit-down restaurants — all within a short walk or quick drive. Parking is easy to manage, and the area feels safe and well-kept. Overall, this is a great pick whether you’re here for business, visiting family, or just exploring the Reston area.
