  Customer service representative hung up on me when they asked me what prices I found online and the Hilton Website raised the prices within a hour of my phone call.

  We had an issue related to a water leak in our room that took way more of my time to resolve than I would've wanted, but we eventually got on the same page thanks to Laura at Hilton Corporate. The parking can be a little sketchy, but the building is unique with a lot of interesting history; and, most of the staff was friendly and accommodating - hopefully the ones that weren't as much before are more so now moving forward.

  I had such a great time at Hotel Petersburg! Highlights of my stay: • I was able to check-in early • Valet was so convenient and the drivers were quick and friendly • Having restaurants inside the hotel was also convenient—I enjoyed the drinks • The location is amazing. It’s quiet and tucked away, but you’re able to walk to a lot of restaurants and other businesses • Checkout was a breeze. I also appreciate the text message check-ins from the front desk If I ever visit RVA again, I will for sure be back to this place. Thank you for the great experience!

  Went to Shirlys food was great service was great. Quiet low profile pricing fair. Will go back . Also boiler room was unique experience row a cocktail. Did not stay in room but talked to people staying and they said it was an upscale but affordable.

  DO NOT EAT AT THE RESTAURANT!! I had a dinner reservation at Shirley's at The Hotel Petersburg last Friday 12/12/2025 for 15 people. We arrived for our reservations, and 2 members of our party were unable to attend due to personal reasons (sick child & car issues). We spent well over $2000 on food and beverages and I just noticed on my credit card statement that I was charged an additional $45. When I called to inquire, I was told that I had to pay $15 for each person that did not show up for my dinner reservation. Not only was this not communicated to me in advance but they wrongly charged me for 3 missing people when on 2 people did not attend. I have been trying to contact the food and beverage manager Melissa all day today. I was told she would call me when she got in, and then when I called back hours later I was told she would contact me after the lunch rush. Since I still have not heard from her I tried to contact her at again at 3:00pm and was told she was too busy to take my call. I find it extremely frustrating to be charged for missing guests at a dinner. I would understand if we didn't show up for our reservation at all and then was charge for the no show but that is not the case in this situation. I will never eat, stay or recommend this hotel to anyone. I will also be reporting the charge as fraud if I am not contacted by the end business today.
