When we get there we are told we need to pay a 250 dollar deposit ( more than the room cost) just because we are locals . This is ridiculous! Locals are the easiest to track down if something is wrong after we leave. Not to mention me and my wife are diamond members ( so they have all of out information) . This is a spit in the face of any local. May not go back to a hampton or a hilton if that's how they feel about the area that allowed them to move their business in their area.
- RBRachel BryantOct 26, 20255.0I was taking a multi day motorcycle trip with 2 other riders and it made sense to stay a few days in Norton as a "base" to explore surrounding areas. All staff at the hotel were extremely nice and welcoming. When we checked in, once the very nice woman at the front desk found out we had come in on motorcycles, she immediately offered us to park under the covered area by the front door, and also told us they had towels available in the mornings for us to wipe the dew off our seats/windshields which was a very nice touch. Although we didn't feel the need to park under the covered area since the weather/wind was pretty good during our stay, it was nice to know we hade the option! The breakfast options changed daily and we all enjoyed the varied options along with the 2 waffle makers available. Rachel made sure to keep the tables and breakfast area clean and well stocked, she was also very nice to talk with. The gentleman at the front desk in the mornings (unfortunately I didn't get his name) was great and provided us with towels every morning so we could make sure the morning dew could be wiped off our motorcycle seats. The area had a couple of restaurants in walking distance and we tried out the Italian place directly next door and the food was pretty good, and better than we had expected. Location was great for exploring the mountain roads in the area. There was also a CVS in walking distance. Parking here was easy and plentiful. I'll definitely stay here again if I find myself in the area again!
