    My experience at this hotel was ruined thanks to the incredibly rude manager I just spoke with on the phone !! Day of check out I called the front desk and asked for a late checkout. They offered noon . No big deal, all hotels do this . Walk out at 11:56 and after checking out the front desk girl yelled at me to wait. They said there was a 40$ late check out fee. I told them no one told me about this, I've never ! Experienced this at a hotel before. Upon looking, the receptionist realized there was a mistake, it charged me 40$ bevause they accidentally wrote down that I was staying til -2pm- not 12. The receptionist apologized , removed the charge , and I thought that was that. Well it's a month later today and we never received our 75$ security deposit back . I called and spoke with rude manager who argued with me in a very rude tone saying I WAS CHARGED for the late checkout! And that I would NOt be getting my security deposit back at all!! All over a late checkout that MOST hotels offer as a courtesy , especially I am a Hilton honors member ?? And this was a MISTAKEN LATE CHECKOUT as we DID. KT STAY TIL 2. I am disgusted by the way I was spoken to by this manager. Very condescending and apathetic. Yeah he's not the one losing 75$ so why should he care?? I stayed here for an event near Hampton coliseum . I am telling EVERYONE to never stay at this hotel. They are liars, and CROOKS!!! do NOT TRUST!!!!

    MY FAMILY HAD TO SLEEP IN OUR CAR. Fire alarm was set off at 2am but there was No fire. Alarm was blarring loud for over an hour. No sleep. Wondering if the alarm was set off by the kids who ran up and down the halls well after 1am. I had small children and needed to be up at 8am. Needless to say we got no rest. Terrible experience at this hotel. Highly disappointed. Also, website says "recently renovated" but I couldn't tell.

    Rave review before you actually get there! Yes, before we arrived, I had questions and had the pleasure of speaking with Liz at the front desk. She was very helpful and detailed with her information as our trip was for a funeral we needed everything to run as smoothly as possible. Liz helped me with digital check in, informed me of what was in the area to eat and had our requests in our room upon our arrival. The room and bathroom were extremely clean no hair anywhere! The common areas were spotless, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The surrounding area had multiple eateries within walking distance and shopping. A hidden Gem!
